Mind Over Matter
Rebecca McKenney grieved the loss of her daughter for three years. Now, a vision showing Sabrina three years older, suggests her baby is still alive, and the FBI agent who gave up the search is the only one who can help find her. Special Agent Dan Cooper is haunted by a tragic mistake made early in the investigation of Sabrina’s disappearance. Now to ease his conscience he agrees to help Rebecca search. Together they fight inner demons, all to real bad guys, and an attraction neither wants to admit to. Each step closer to finding Sabrina is a step deeper into deception and evil. Can Rebecca and Dan save Sabrina before it’s too late?

My Review:
Oh wow! What a tear jerker this book was! All the way through. Tears, racing heart, happiness, fear, anger; with this book, you run the whole gamut! In the beginning, I was so sad for Rebecca! My heart hurt for her, for losing her daughter. Especially after the post from earlier. And, I was so mad at Dan for walking away, and Pete for being a jerk, and the police for not doing everything they should have done. Oh, the list went on and on! And then there was the fear for the children, and the anger at the people who were hurting them. I don’t want to say much, because I don’t want to post any spoilers, but suffice it to say Shame on Them!
S.J. Clarke had me biting my nails (and I’ve worked so hard to stop doing that!), crying, and then tears again – of happiness this time. Finding a book, and characters within it, that can become so real to you is something that doesn’t happen often. I am so glad I signed up to review this book! These characters felt so real to me that I wish there was a sequel just to find out what happens to them now!
